It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Goans Jr. of Moncure, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lester Goans and Helen Peeler Goans; his brothers, Jim Goans and Bob Goans; and his goddaughter Cassy.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Goans; his brothers-in-law, Jeff and Brad of Salisbury, NC; and his brother Bill Goans (Joann) of Greensboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Jack's memory to New Salem Church 5030 Old Graham Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
