She was predeceased by: her parents, Royce B. Dickens and Sadie Denson Dickens; her husband William Thomas George; and her siblings, Betty Dickens McLean, Marie Dickens Wicker, Edd Dickens and Henry Dickens.
She is survived by: her children, Chris George (Carla) of Moncure, NC. and Angie George Harris (Ken) of Moncure, NC.; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Spivey (Kenneth), Christian George (Kayla), Gracie George, Abbie George, Ashley Harris, Gunnar Harris, Alizah Simpson and Alyssa Harris.
