He is survived by: his wife Linda Peele Ashworth; his children, Mechelle Hash (Shelby) of Cameron, Gail Thomas (Marty) of Sanford, Amy Unger (Matthew) of Sanford, Shane Whitt (Karen) of Eagle Springs, Julie Crawford (Miles) of Sanford and Jamie Ashworth (Christy) of Fuquay-Varina; his grandchildren, Clayton Hash, Cody Hash, Brandon Thomas, Kristen Douglas, Jessica Goldston, Zoie Unger, Hailey Crawford, Reilly Ashworth and Archer Ashworth; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson Hash, Remington "Remi" Douglas, Connor Thomas, Hudson Hash and Cecil Hash.
