He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lucian and Sarah Rebecca Patterson Burton; and his brother Bruce Burton. He is survived by: his wife Delilah Sue Bailey Burton; his sons, Billy Burton (Michelle) of Davidson County, Walter Paul Burton of Georgia, Barry Burton (Vanessa) of Greensboro, Bobby Burton (Shannon) of Clemmons and Danny Burton (Vernadeth) of Davidson County; and his grandchildren, Joshua Burton (Sarah), Logan Burton, Eric Sengvanhpheng, Austin Burton, Wesley Burton (Gabi), Cody Plowman, Hayley Burton, Gavin Burton and Angelo Burton.
