He was predeceased by : his parents, T. Albert Shermer and Iris C. Shermer of Winston-Salem. He is survived by : his children, Cameron Bell (Ray), Casendra Woodward (Shane) and David Shermer (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Amanda Bell, Raymond Bell, Megan Shermer, Colin Shermer, Ben Shermer and Mary Erin Woodward.
