It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Lee Smith of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Samuel Smith and Edna Lee Smith (Moore); his sister Becky Beam; and his nephew Jim Beam. He is survived by : his wife Diane Smith (Hardin); his adoptive daughter Rhonda Bell-Driscoll (Jennifer); and his nieces, Phyllis Lewis and Ashley Lewis.
