He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Samuel Smith and Edna Lee Smith (Moore); his sister Becky Beam; and his nephew Jim Beam. He is survived by: his wife Diane Smith (Hardin); his adoptive daughter Rhonda Bell-Driscoll (Jennifer); and his nieces, Phyllis Lewis and Ashley Lewis.
