She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Brady and Ruby Jane Whitlock Jones; her husband Troy Junior Carter; her sister Ursula Jones Watkins; and her daughter-in-law Jackie Hall Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Carter (Susan) of Mocksville, Doug Carter (Becky) of Mocksville, Norman Carter (Jamie) of Mocksville and Cindy Grubb of Advance. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
