He is survived by : his wife Martha Eliza Whitney; his children, Eliza Whitney Cranfill (Andy), Steven Francis Whitney and Roszina Whitney Angus (Mark); his siblings, Earl "Bucky", Merle, Donnie, Lee, Sonya and Karen; his grandchildren, Cora Nicole Whitney, Joshua McKinley Cranfill, Marshall Richard Coleman Whitney and Destin Pierce Whitney; and his sibling Boots.
