He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Durham and Ora Belle Myers Bowen. He is survived by: his sister Jan Ledford (Stewart) of Mocksville; his nephew Holden Ledford; his nieces, Hillary Shores (Nathan), Holly Miller (Justin) and Hope Schawrz (Michael); and his close friends, Freddie and Barbara Carter. He is also survived by several neighbors; and many other friends.
