It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Mitchell Connell Sr. of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Olin Connell and Bessie Connell (Waller); and his son Ray Mitchell Connell, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Betty Connell (Trexler) of Mocksville; his children, Terry Wayne Connell of Mocksville and Donna Connell Carpenter of Advance; his sister Diane Connell Waller of Salisbury; and his grandson Matthew Ray Connell of Mocksville.
