He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Randall and Beatrice Effie Wanzo Sweitzer; his wife Eva G. Sweitzer; his siblings, Harold Sweitzer and Pat Sweitzer; and his granddaughter Abigail Renee Fox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Fox (Roger) and Jill Dove (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Brenda Fox, Heather Williams (Eric), Melissa Carmichael (Benjamin), Jonathan Fox, Elizabeth "Libby" Fox, Kenneth E. Dove, James R. Dove and Isaiah W. Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Allison, Drew Gardner, Breanna, Dallas, Braden, Clayton, Marissa, Julia and Jackson Carmichael.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Covenant Church (1446 Sheffield Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
