We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2023, at the age of 82, Patricia Ann Athey Angell Carter (Mocksville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordell Nathaniel and Dorothy Jeanette Kimble Athey; her former husband Isaac Marshall Angell; and her brother Jerry Athey. She is survived by: her husband Larry Dean Carter; her children, Chris Angell (Melinda) of Lexington, Phillip Angell of Concord and LaDeana Carter Wyrick (Cam) of Waxhaw; her grandchildren, Kirston Angell, Chase Angell, Lilli Angell, Lindley Wyrick and Cali Wyrick; her great grandchildren, Caroline Angell and Chloe Angell; and her brothers, Ken Athey of Florida and Mike Athey (Carol) of China Grove. She is also survived by Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
