He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson and Doris Lambeth; and his sister Kelly Caudill. He is survived by: his wife Kay Nelson (Raney); his children, Brian Nelson (Samantha), Clinton McDaniel (Holly), April McDaniel (Clifton) and Lindsay Register (Jason); his brother Richie Taylor (Tammy) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Kandise, Kassidie, Alexis, Richard, Anna, Owen, Aida and Elex; his great grandchild Hudson; and his pets, Bolt and Bree.
