Melvin Mock Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Mock (Mocksville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Niesa Mock; and his siblings, Billy Smoot, Richard Mock and Johnnie Mae Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Chunn Mock of Mocksville; his sons, Dexter Mock of Mocksville and Derrick Mock, Sr. (Abony) of Mocksville; and his grandchildren, Christopher Mock (Keisha), Anitra Mock, Markita Mock (James), Aisha Mock, Derrick Mock, Jr., Micah Mock and Damarian Mock. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
