She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moultrey and Etta Tillon; her husband Dennis Junior Alexander; her son Dennis N. Alexander; and her siblings, Nathaniel, Hubert, Cleo and John.

She is survived by: her grandson Jason Young; and her daughter-in-law Vernice B. Alexander of Advance. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
