She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Patrick and Maggie Josephine Beck Lanier; her husband Calvin Eugene Prevette; and her siblings, Kenneth Lanier, Wayne Lanier, Shelby Lapish and Brenda Chaffin.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas (Debbie) of Olin, Cynthia of Harmony, Daniel (Patsy) of Mocksville and Cheryl (Michael Jones) of Mocksville; and her grandchildren, Aaron Prevette (Jessica), Joshua Prevette (Teagen), Caleb Creason (Ashley), Rachel Todd (Jason), Alan Prevette, Rhonda Fox (Gil) and Carolyn Brannock (Michael). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
