She was predeceased by : her mother Lottie Smoot Garrett; and her siblings, Rufus and Dorothy. She is survived by : her daughter Alice; her son-in-law Rev. Andrew W. Brown, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Andrienne Brown and Andrew Brown, III.
