It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Russell Gregory of Mocksville, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Earl "Scotty" Gregory; his stepfather Posie "Bud" Beck; his siblings-in-law, Judy Gregory and Alonzo Hester; and his nephew Russell Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy; his adoptive daughter Missy Taylor (Jim); his stepchildren, Tracy Fuquay and Michael Strickland (Beth); his grandchildren, Erica Mabe (Patrick), Amber Groce (Jody), JD Mabe (LeighAnne), Bradley Mabe (Kristen), Coty Strickland, Heather Garland (Jake), Lisa Strickland (Josh), Marissa Roberts, Scotty Blankinship, Page Fuquay, Britney Blankinship, Anna Taylor, Keli Taylor, Jacob Gregory and Aiden Cadmen; and his siblings, Bill (Shirley), Ron (Linda), Jerry, Richard and Barbara. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
