He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel White Doby and Charles Doby, Sr.; his former wife Pamela McGlamery Doby; and his siblings, Kathy Freeman and Michael Doby.
He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Matthews Doby; his children, Kendra Denise Doby Tallent (Matthew) and James Michael Doby (Courtney); his stepdaughter Melissa Ashley (Robert); his siblings, Betty Myers (Glen), Joan Doby and Charles Doby, Jr. (Gwen); and his aunts and uncles, Frances, Bob Legg, Tammy, Howard, Shana, Johnny and Brice. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
