She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis Hall and Erna Dora Midkiff; her husband Harry J. Hughes; and her siblings, Gerald Hall, WJ Hall and Shirley Schen.
She is survived by: her children, Barry C. Hughes (Patricia) of Christiansburg, VA, Bonnie Burgess of Mocksville, Debbie Palmer of Mocksville and Janet Ward of Mocksville; and her sister Imogene Jenkins of Mt. Airy, NC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
