As Josie Lee Irvin departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Josie Lee Irvin. Though Josie Lee Irvin may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Ethel Ozelle Smith Irvin; her husband Bob Cook Miller; and her brother Jimmy Irvin. She is survived by: her son Johnny Miller (Charlotte) of Mocksville; her grandchildren, Payne Miller (Samantha) of Charlotte and Caroline Turner (Dustin) of Winston-Salem; and her niece Debbie Williford (Willy) of Mocksville. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (310 N Main St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for First United Methodist Church chancel choir, 310 N. Main Street, Mocksville, NC 27028 or to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
