He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Henderson Barnette and Addie Misenheimer Barnette; his wife Linda Hartley Barnette; his son Steve Barnette (Pam) of Holly Springs; and his grandchildren, Katie Barnette of Charlotte and Quinn Barnette of Durham.
