He is survived by: his children, Mickey Spillman Smith (Billy) of Salisbury, Terry Spillman Logan (Terry) of Harmony and Eddie Austin Spillman (Lisa) of Mocksville; his stepdaughters, Victoria Stowers, Connie Stewart of Wilmington and Vickie Cochran; his grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Austin Smith, Jacob Smith (Kayla), Jeremy Thompson (Adria), Kayla Thompson McCrary (Tom), Brandi Logan Cayton (Sandon), Cody Logan (Karen) and Ashlee Paige Spillman; his sister Lois Brown (Greer) of Kannapolis; his close friend Mary Alice Hasty of Pinehurst; and his child Faris Rd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
