With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Roger Childers of Mocksville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87. For Joe Roger is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Lewis and Mildred Ella Brewer Childers; his brother Ben Childers; and his nieces, Lisa Beane and Mona Wallace. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
