With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Wedding of Mocksville, North Carolina, born in Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Wyatt and Anna Morgan Wyatt; her husband James Irving Wedding; and her daughter Barbara Wyatt Tyson. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon K. Satterwhite of Mocksville, NC., Gail D. Dixon of Mocksville, NC., Donna F. Persinger of Spotsylvania County, VA. and Anna M. Williams (Ben) of Metter, GA.; and her siblings, Lorraine Roles of Fredericksburg, VA., Jeannie Perry of King George, VA., Kathy Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA., Bonnie Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA., Frankie Wyatt (Eva) and Donnie Wyatt (Marie) of Fredericksburg, VA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
