He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lincoln; his sons, James "Jamie" Charles Richardson, Jr. and Jeffrey Clark Richardson; and his siblings, Martha Madeline Lapish, Perry Richardson, Edward Richardson and Alan Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jane Sain Richardson; his daughter Jennifer Carol Richardson Outen of Iron Station; his siblings, Virginia Mullis, Shelby Cartner, Christine Speer, Barbara Reavis (Lane) and Ronald Richardson; and his granddaughter Jessica Taylor Hwang (Yongwon) of Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
