He is survived by: his sister Helen Poindexter; his grandchildren, Christina "Gidget" Lynn Smith (Jason), Jennifer Lynnel Motsinger, Jamie Renfroe (Chris) and Michael Hicks (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Joshua Gray Motsinger, Jr., Carson Hicks, Connor Hicks, Chevy Molina and Kaitlyn Molina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
