He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Dagenhart Kyles and Henry Vance Kyles, Sr.; his wife Edna Tucker Kyles; and his brothers, Kenneth Kyles, Jimmie Kyles and Frank Kyles.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Kyles (Kim) of Mocksville and Wendy Kyles (Ronnie) of Woodleaf; his grandchildren, Ashley Kyles, Matt Kyles and Chase Kyles; and his great grandchildren, Adison, Athan, Campbell and Colton.
