He is survived by : his parents, Roger John Vanderbrook (Sandra) and Janet Carol Paige Vanderbrook (Joseph); his wife Kelly Sawyer Vanderbrook; his children, Korey Gregg Michael Vanderbrook, Madison Hailey Vanderbrook, Benjamin John Vanderbrook, Andrew Ray Vanderbrook, Samuel Lee Vanderbrook, Elizabeth Kathryn Vanderbrook, David Scott Vanderbrook and Mary Grace Vanderbrook; his granddaughter Adeline Elizabeth Vanderbrook; his sister Linda Strong-Hollebrandt (David); and his nephew Thomas Roger Strong.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Eaton Funeral Service (325 N Main St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 7:45 PM at the Eaton Funeral Chapel (325 N Main St, Mocksville, NC 27028).

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be considered to his surviving spouse and children living at the home.
