He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Marshall and Ruth Brown Grimes; his brother Bill Grimes; and his grandson Raven Williams. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Champ Grimes; his children, Randall Grimes (Shannon) of Advance and Melissa Grimes (Rodney) of Advance; his grandchildren, Sabrina Grimes, Samantha Grimes, Peyton Grimes, Leah Grimes and Alex Wilson; his great grandchild Avery Blackmon; and his sister-in-law Crystal Champ.
