He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yarbrough and Mozelle Yarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fulp Yarbrough; his sons, Jason Yarbrough (JJ) of Lexington, NC and Brooks Yarbrough of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his grandsons, Alex, Ethan and Seth Yarbrough; his friend William Abrams of Ft Lauderdale, FL; his siblings, Roger (Bennie), David Yarbrough (Penny) and Faye Norman (Ben); and his brother-in-law Garland K. Fulp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, in Gary's name.
