We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2024, at the age of 92, Frances Carolyn Myers Barney (Mocksville, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Junius Hugh and Ethel Victoria Walser Myers; her husband Calvin Spencer Barney; her granddaughter Kendra Lagle; and her siblings, Ruth Lanier, Joann Cope, Malcom Myers and Austin Myers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lanette Lagle (Rickie) of Mocksville and Tena Sheets (Gary) of Advance; her siblings, Sue Wilkerson and Rodney Myers; her grandchildren, Brad Lagle (Christy), Brianna Millikan (Tanner) and Logan Sheets; and her great grandchild Jakob Lagle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
