She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sidney Nail and Catherine Nail (Bullock); her son Eric Paul Shelton; her sister Linda Nail Ludwig; and her son-in-law Dwayne O'Dell Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanie Shelton Brown of Cooleemee; her brother Sid Nail (Vicki) of Cooleemee; her granddaughter Mary Catherine Brown; her nieces and nephews, Allison, Josh and David; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Emily, Reid, Isabella, Jack and Cate.
