It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Spry Swicegood-Ridenhour (Mocksville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Vestal Spry, Sr. and Sarah Della McDaniel Spry; her husbands, James "Jim" Swicegood and Bruce Ridenhour; and also, Catherine Hellard (J. W.), Evalina Campbell (Avis) and R. V. Spry, Jr. (Mildred).
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Galliher (Grady) and Linda Leonard (Kelly); her grandchildren, Michael Galliher (Renee), Sandra Lipscomb (Andy), Kristen Harrington (Chase) and Kari Snow (Wesley); her great grandchildren, Amanda Harris, Morgan White (Cody), Kaitlyn Lipscomb (Logan Cartner), Ashley Lipscomb (Jake Smith), Michael Galliher Jr. (Melanie Gobble) and Graham Harrington; her great great grandchild Ryker Lane White; and her close friends, Cameron Webb and Auria Flores. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
