He was predeceased by: his parents, Mazie Caroline Chattin (Perry) and Robert "Rooster" Lee Chattin, Sr.; his brother Roger; and his sisters-in-law, Paulette (Billy) and Mary Chattin.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Terri; his brothers, Bobby Chattin and Keith Chattin (Terri); his niece Jossi Ranney (Trent); his nephews, Jesse Chattin (Tasha), Ethan Chattin and Jimmy Link (Heather); and his great-nephews, Colton Chattin and Barrett Ranney.
