He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Sherman and Pauline Esther Chamberlain Chapman; his brothers, Gordon, Bernard and James; and his grandson Timothy Edward Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Ferne Chapman; and his children, Timothy J. Chapman (Sherri) of Spring, TX, Thomas G. Chapman of Cleveland, NC, Tracey A. Chapman (Winnie) of Broken Arrow, OK, Tamora L. Williams (Lorne) of Mebane and Tonya S. Chapman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
