He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Vaden and Nettie Dell Kersh Allen; his wife Annie Ruth Frye Allen; his grandson Lucas Grubbs; and his sisters, Lenora Freeman, Dorothy Cooper and Sadie Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Reavis (Eddie) and Dena Grubbs (Steve); his grandchildren, Amber Livengood King, Jamie Livengood Hubbard (Luke), Allen Livengood (Paula) and Katelyn Grubbs Craver (Zachary); his great grandchildren, Dale Hanes, Tristan Hanes, Taylor Godbey, Alyssa Godbey, Hailey Livengood, Gabe Livengood, Coen Craver and Eleanor Craver; his great great grandchildren, London Stewart, Aubree Hanes and Colton Parks; and his brother Jack Allen.
