He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Lippard (Kenny), Barbara Koontz (Arthur) and Lynn Foster; his nieces and nephews, Kenny Lippard, Cory Lippard (Christy), Jacinda Oaten, Miranda Etter (Billy), Stephanie Tarpley (Gerald), Callahan Bowers (Josh), Kaleb Koontz (Taylor) and Tanner Koontz; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenslee Lippard, Belle Oaten, Avery Etter, River Oaten, Parker Bowers, Westin Etter, Allie Lakey, Grayson Bowers, James and Alyssa Tarpley; his stepdaughters, Crystal Patton and Jennifer Patton Özkurt (Özgür); and his stepgrandchildren, Gabriel Patton, Selvi Özkurt and Daphne Özkurt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Mocksville (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Methodist Church (169 Salem Church Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028).
