He was predeceased by: his father Millard Boger; his wife Carolyn Cartner Boger; and his brother Bobby Eugene Boger. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Boger (Martha) of Kernersville, Barbara McBride (Barry) of Mocksville, James Boger, Kathy Boger of Mocksville, Mickey Boger and Susan Marion (Kevin) of Mocksville; his sisters, Virginia Cope, Gladys Beaver, Linda Lyerly and Sarah Kerley; and his grandchildren, Samantha Gaines (Malik), Matthew Boger, Carli Justiniano (Xavier), Mallory Phelps (Alex), Lesley McBride (Renato), Daniel McBride, Natalie McBride, Sydney McBride (Joseph), Tiffany Smoot, Emily Boger, Hazel Marion, Silas Marion, Iris Marion and Ruby Marion. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Bethel United Methodist Church, where Carl was a member (P.O. Box 193, Mocksville, NC 27028).
