He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Henry Seamon and Mary Seamon (Robbins); his brother Tom Seamon; and his son Timothy Seamon (Brandon). He is survived by: his son Cletus "Danny" Seamon, Jr. (Susan); his siblings, Johnny Seamon, Gary Seamon (Liz) and Diane Seamon Cooper (Steve); his grandchildren, Courtney Seamon and Jeremy Seamon (Betsy); and his great grandchild Brantley Seamon.
