He is survived by: his wife Minister Willette Gartrell of Advance, NC.; his children, Lakisia Gartrell of Texas, Mable Gartrell, Natasha Gartrell of Georgia and Katina Foster (L'Thomas) of North Carolina; his stepdaughter Lashaunda Hudson (James); and his grandchildren, Tyrek Gartrell, Tre'von Smith, Sr., Na'Kiah Ireland, Khloe'Langston, Izabella Maher-Gartrell, Gavin Foster, Connor Maher, Raya Namias-Gartrell, Tatyana Hudson and Jameison Hudson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
