It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Gary Gist of Mocksville, North Carolina, born in Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Earl; and his wife Debra "Debbie" Lou DeGrave Gist. He is survived by: his children, Cheri Johns (Chris) and Thomas Gist (Bonnie Helms); his grandchildren, Cayden Johns (Tiffany), Abigail Leigh Gist Webb (James) and Caytlin Mae Johns; and his great grandchild Willow Rae. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, extended family, neighbors.
