He is survived by: his children, Shane Young (Amy) of Mocksville, Tracy Young Glass (Derek) of Greensboro and Chelsea Young (Trevor Albarran) of Charlotte; his close friend Jan Villaire of Mocksville; his sister Judy Young Petticord (Blaine) of Mocksville; his granddaughter Maggie Smith Young; his nieces, Penny Young of Clemmons and Casey Petticord Dyson (Allen); and his great-nieces, Addyson of Mocksville and Caroline of Mocksville.
