He is survived by: his father Carl Henry Hunt, Sr. of Mocksville; his wife Martha Brewer Hunt; his daughters, Haley Waypa (Brian) of Belmont and Maddie Shelton (Haynes) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Corinne Waypa and Xander Waypa; and his sisters, Anita Hendrix (Craig) of Mocksville and Myra Bumgarner (Barry) of Conover. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and a multitude of friends.
