He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roman and May Teresa Andersen Branecky; and his stepdaughter Cherie Layton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gylander Branecky; his sons, Paul Branecky (Quinn) and Jason Westover (Rosleen); his grandchildren, Evan, Collin, Vivianne and Olivia; and his brothers, Michael Branecky (Barbara), David Branecky (Linda) and Jeff Branecky. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
