She was predeceased by: her father James Andrew; her husband James Billy Barnhardt; her son Andy Barnhardt; her siblings, Janice Williams and Lyndon Wilson; and her grandmother Barnes (Carolyn Barnes).
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Shaw (Kelly) of Mocksville, Melissa Smith (Paige) of Lewisville, Matthew Barnhardt (Lorraine) of Fayetteville and Kristy Barnhardt of High Point; her grandchildren, Lisa Lanier, Adam Barnhardt (Amber), Paul Smith (Raven), Andrew Smith, David Smith, Sarah Mills (Avery), Ashley Herrick (Braden) and Noah Barnhardt; her siblings, Rachel Cross of Mocksville and Jim Wilson of Mocksville; and her daughter-in-law Gail Barnhardt of Advance. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
