With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Virginia Sherrill of Mocksville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Isaac Douthit and Mary Douthit (Pilcher); her husband Howard Knox Sherrill; and her siblings, Ruth Knight and Bob Douthit.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Sherrill (Carolyn) of Mocksville, Dale Sherrill (Lynn) of Sumter, SC, Todd Sherrill (Glenda) of Mocksville and Judy Call (Randy) of Mocksville; her siblings, Earl Douthit (Patty) of Winston-Salem, Linda Baugus of Mocksville and Janice Boyer (Randy) of Advance; and her grandchildren, Shaun Sherrill (Crystie), Samantha Avant (Eric), Zachary Sherrill (Anna Kate), Chris Sherrill (Leigh), Mary Beth Sherrill (Corbin), Kristin Richardson (Cody) and Lori Latham (Rodney).
