He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaither Adams, Sr. and Audrey Lee Whitehead Adams; his daughter Teresa Louise Myers; and his grandchild Lauren Elizabeth Engle. He is survived by: his wife Linda Louise Ward Adams; his daughter Julie Leonard (Kevin) of Mocksville; his grandchildren, Kathryn Brooke Zorn (Ben), Landon Ray Leonard, Jaydon Lee Leonard, Callie Teresa Leonard and Carly Louise Leonard; his siblings, William Adams (Nora) and Victoria Adams; his grandson Jacob Whitaker; his pet Levi; and his great grandchild Anastasia Marie Zorn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a special nephew.
