He was predeceased by: his parents, Rondie Eugene Earnhardt and Nellie Verna Drye Earnhardt; his wife Margaret Helen Taylor Earnhardt; his granddaughter Vickie Earnhardt Mace; and his siblings, Harold Earnhardt, James Earnhardt, Jack Earnhardt and Jeanette Earnhardt.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Earnhardt (Teresa) of Gold Hill, Gary Earnhardt (Melissa) of Richfield, Sandra Hahn (Terry) of New London and Michelle Bullock (Joe) of Durham; his grandchildren, Michael Earnhardt (Lacie), Kelly Hahn Hainline (Brett), David Hahn (Sara), Sarah Earnhardt Pace (Matt), Kayte Hahn, Abby Earnhardt, Megan Bullock and Joshua Bullock; his great grandchildren, Dakota Mace (Kerry), Jacob Earnhardt, Nico Andre, Vera Hahn and Kayelynn Pace; and his granddaughters, Emeri and Loralei Mace.
