He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwell Lewis and Helen Eley Lewis; his brother Robert; and his grandson Justin. He is survived by: his wife Gail Evans; his children, Gary Lewis (Sharon) of Indian Trail, NC, Brad Lewis (Adrienne) of Burlington, NC, Sherry Johnson (Lawrence) of Concord, NC and Jeffrey Lewis (Amy) of Matthews, NC; his grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Gregory, Kevin, Brandon, Brooke, Mackenzie and Avery; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Abbigail. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
